Messiah United Methodist Women

Purpose: The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

At Messiah: A group of women who grow together and support each other through Jesus. This is done by enjoying time together at various Bible studies, activities and events that culminate in our focus on mission projects within our communities and other areas.

Our mission projects include raising funds for local organizations that support those in need, such as Susanna Wesley House, YWCA Battered Spouses, Meals on Wheels and others. We also have various drives to provide items such as paper towels, socks, toiletries, to these and other groups. In addition, our women make various items by hand for donation.
